The Upper Arlington Civic Association (UACA) is excited to announce the 2020/21 UACA Junior Director Scholarship Program. Every year, the UACA selects 10 high school students to represent the association as Junior Directors for twelve months starting in May of each year.
The Junior Director Community Service and Scholarship Program is open to all young women and men living in Upper Arlington and currently in their Junior year of high school. Students may attend any high school in the greater Columbus area as long as they reside in Upper Arlington.
Students chosen as a Junior Director in good standing will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
Junior Directors are expected to participate in all community events sponsored by the UACA between May 2020 – May 2021.
Applications are considered based upon their service to school and community, leadership and communication skills. Applicants must complete an application and obtain two letters of recommendation from school (teachers, guidance counselors, coaches or administrators), places of worship, community leaders, or employers.
Application information for the 2020/21 Junior Director Scholarship will be available on our Junior Director page starting March 1, 2020 and closing at midnight on April 15, 2020.
