2017 Float Winners:
- Overall Best of Parade: Greensview Neighborhood (Facebook Live, parade within parade)
- Best Design/Craftsmanship: Fairfax Road (Roaring 20s, car)
- Best Neighborhood: Westwood Acres
- Best Representation of Theme: York Place (Alice through the looking glass with Woody, Golden Bear, and Spirit of 76)
- Best 1st Time Entry: Westmont Blvd (Snow White with house, bridge, etc.)
- Most Patriotic: Bartelt Dancers (Patriotic songs and dancing)
- Most Entertaining: Marjorie Jones Schools, Inc. (dad and daughters, Wizard of Oz)
- Best Youth Group: UA Indian Princesses (Winter camp out)
- Best Service Group: First Community Village/National Church Residences
- Best Class Reunion: Class of 1992 (float with band/guy singing “What’s Up”)
2017 Spirit of UA Awards:
- Class of 1977 (tiki bar)
- Henthorn Road (Adult and youth Snow Whites)
- Wellesley Drive (Framing store with pictures from past UA parades)
- Langham Road (Fins, Reflections by the Sea)
- Randmore/Mumford (Moana)
